Munay Ki (Spring 2026)

Munay Ki is a series of nine rites introduced to the world by the Q’ero people of Peru. This tribe emerged from the seclusion of their mountain home specifically to share their techniques of love and healing. Join Karie, our MonkeyBee Shaman, as we delve into ways to heal ourselves and, in turn, the world around us. This class focuses on tradition and culture and includes Shamanic practices such as journeying, breathwork, drumming, and meditation as forms of self-reflection.

Each session will include a ceremony following instruction, with a celebration on the final day.

Students are invited to bring comfort items such as blankets or pillows as well as items to add to the alter created for each session.

Karie received her first rites in 2022 and then again in 2025. Karie was gifted the ability to give these rites by a traditional Peruvian Shaman, Eduardo Chura Apaza.
