Welcome

At MonkeyBee Reiki, My goal is to guide you into a state of relaxation where your body can begin to focus on areas that need healing, physically and emotionally. I like to combine your body's natural ability to heal with the influence of nature. Our studio is situated in the Adirondack woods on five acres, I invite you to simply sit for a moment. Observe the world around you, without the need to change anything. What do you see? What do you hear? How do you feel? Come experience MonkeyBee Reiki.
Learn, Grow, Heal.

Get to Know MonkeyBee

Welcome to MonkeyBee Reiki, founded by Karie Provanchie, a Usui Reiki Master Teacher, Sound Meditation Specialist, New York State Licensed Backcountry Guide, NYS Safe Boating Instructor, and an ACA Small Craft Trip Leader.
Karie's qualifications combine to provide a unique skill set for healing in nature, including reiki enhanced forest bathing, meditation, and sound healing.
Karie grew up in the foothills of the Adirondacks, collecting rocks, frogs, and dirt. She is a lifetime member of GSUSA, first as a girl then as an adult, becoming a Master Leader Trainer. Ten years as an outdoor educator specializing in adventure activities helped her understand the impact of healing in nature.
Karie came to Reiki in 2019. Reiki, or universal energy, can be used as a powerful force in the healing of physical pain (including post-surgical, chronic, healing injuries), emotional pain (anxiety, trauma, past memory regression, depression), aligning energy (emotional balance, chakra alignment), reducing stress, and building a sense of self (awareness of needs and wants).
Sessions can take place over distance or in person using hands on or off methods, based on personal preferences and level of comfort.
Karie loves to lead forest bathing and mediation trips: a favorite way to restore one's energy balance and feed the soul.
Karie firmly believes in building a life one doesn’t feel the need to escape from. She enjoys paddling, road trips, rock hounding, exploring the forest, teaching, healing, and helping others. She prefers to be barefoot and close to the people she loves.
